Krčma U Pavouka tavern is hidden in the vaulted cellars of a historic building at Celetná 17, steps from Old Town Square. Stone walls, long wooden tables, candles and the smell of roasting meat — exactly as Prague's taverns looked 600 years ago.

What Happens on Stage
While you dine, a continuous performance unfolds before you. The artists alternate acts for 2.5 hours — it never grows dull and nothing repeats.

The Menu
5 Courses of Authentic Czech Cuisine
The food is taken seriously — this is not mere decoration alongside the show. The 5-course menu features authentic Czech recipes prepared with care. Six options are available at booking: pork, poultry, fish, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free.
Drinks — Czech beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea — flow without limit throughout the entire evening. Your tankard is refilled by the servers without you needing to ask.

What is included in the Prague medieval dinner?
A 5-course Czech menu (cold starter, soup, warm appetiser, main course, dessert), unlimited drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea) and a 2.5-hour live show with swordsmen, jugglers, belly dancers, acrobats and a fire performance.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — and it is strongly recommended. U Pavouka tavern has limited capacity and evenings sell out quickly in peak season. Book at least 1–2 weeks in advance. With the Megalo Travel tour, the booking is handled as part of the package.
Is there a vegetarian or vegan option?
Yes — six menu types are available: pork, poultry, fish, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. Your selection is made at booking and cannot be changed on the evening itself.
Is the medieval dinner suitable for children?
Yes — a special children's menu is available for ages 4 to 12. The show with swordsmen, acrobats and fire performers is particularly engaging for younger guests. For families with children, the early session at 16:00 is recommended.
What language is the show performed in?
The show is entirely wordless — pure visual and musical performance. There is no language barrier whatsoever. It is equally enjoyable for visitors from any country.
