Because Spain is an EU and Schengen member state, Bulgarian and EU citizens travel visa-free using only a valid national ID card or international passport valid through their scheduled return date. Minors under 18 traveling with one parent or an accompanying guardian require a notarized parental travel authorization (original and copy) alongside a copy of their birth certificate.
