For Bulgarian citizens, a valid international passport or ID card with a validity of 6 months from the date of residence in the country is required. For tourists with an unlimited ID card, in order to use it, it must have been issued no more than 10 years ago, from the date of travel. A visa is not required for a tourist stay. Always check the current requirements before traveling.

What currency is used in Turkey?

The official currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY). In most tourist resorts, payments in Euro are also accepted, but it is advisable to have some local currency for smaller purchases.
